Converter is designed to download NPR Report Writer (RW)
reports to Microsoft’s Reporting
Services platform. This allows for generation of dynamic
web-based reports utilizing your data repository (DR).
These reports can be either “pushed” to users in the form of
scheduled e-mails containing report information, or “pulled” upon
demand by secure access through the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. Built in templates and a full set of report display options
allow these colorful and functionally rich reports to be generated with
just a few mouse clicks.
The
Report
Express Wizard built into RW Converter allows the user to
select an individual RW report, generate appropriate SQL language for
extracting the data from DR, and specify web report layout options, all
in a matter of seconds. Also
included is the ability to batch large groups of RW reports for
conversion to SQL, with the ability to return later and select reports
of interest, specifying each web report’s display options.

Microsoft Reporting Services framework is a powerful .NET enabled
platform designed to act as a secure, central report storage area for
web enabled reports. The
reports created by Blue Elm can easily be publish to an intranet or
internet, with options set to control user access to reports.
